Description of a paragliding passenger flight
Would you like to fulfil the dream of flying without taking any risks? Would you like to take off? Forget your everyday cares? Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of a picture-book landscape?
 
ANYONE can fly along. There are no age limits and – apart from taking a few quick steps at the start – no special requirements or skills called for. In summer, all you need are a pair of sturdy shoes (that support the ankles and have a traction tread) and some comfortable clothing (jeans or sports trousers, jumper, windbreaker, etc.). In winter we fly in heavier gear (ski-wear is ideal). Helmet and gloves are provided.
 
You and your paraglider pilot, who is licensed by the Swiss Hanggliding & Paragliding Association (SHPA), will ride the cable car to an altitude of 2150 m and take a short walk to the take-off point. There you can savour a breathtaking view of the Alpine panorama as preparations are made for the start. Then a few quick steps – and we’re up in the air, free as birds, sitting comfortably in harnesses adjustable to every shape and size.

THE FLIGHT IS INDESCRIBABLE… something you have to experience for yourself. A calm, gentle paragliding flight down to the valley takes about 20 minutes. If thermic conditions are good the flight can be extended should you so desire, and there is every chance that you will be rewarded with an awe-inspiring view of the Aletsch Glacier from above. The safe, soft landing on the big landing field in Fiesch (1050 m) is also totally risk-free – imagine jumping off a chair, that’s all there is to it …
 
Reserve one-and-a-half to two hours for your paragliding passenger flight (incl. preparations, etc.).
 
You can take paragliding passenger flights in summer and winter. We only fly when wind and weather conditions are perfect – to guarantee you a safe flight.
